I recently tried Caribbean Gourmet with my brother, and we both ordered the oxtail stew plate—it was absolutely terrific. What really sets this place apart from similar spots is the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the food. You can taste the difference, and that’s something I truly appreciate. I’m even considering making this my new go-to spot after my gym workouts. Normally, I grab Chipotle every Friday, but after trying Caribbean Gourmet, I can confidently say it’s far better in terms of both quality and flavor. On top of that, the staff was amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and generous. The portion sizes are great, and the overall value is just fantastic. From the service to the food, everything about this place left a lasting impression. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant. I ordered the chicken curry with rice and peas. The curry was very flavorful and a bit spicy (which I loved). The chicken was super tender and juicy. The chickpeas and rice were both good as well but in comparison to the chicken which was just out of this world they were just okay. The blossom market itself was clean and hip but the night that I went I didn’t really feel like it was the best environment as it seemed like it lacked some of the homeyness and coziness that a meal like this Caribbean food deserved. It seemed like a more commercial “tech-like” take to food that lacked the soul that the food carried. Overall food gets 5 stars and venue gets 3.5 to 4 stars.

The Caribbean Gourmet spot inside Boston’s Market Hall offered some truly delicious entree options. I visited with a friend who recommended the oxtails, curries, and jerk chicken—all of which were incredibly well-seasoned and perfectly balanced in flavor. I’d highly recommend it to anyone, especially since it’s located in an open, food hall-style space that features a variety of other cuisines, similar to a food court but much more upscale. The setting included a small stage and communal seating, creating a festive and inviting atmosphere, especially with the Christmas decorations for the season. Everything was reasonably priced, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The overall vibe was casual and relaxed yet vibrant, making it a great spot to hang out and savor some amazing food. Parking on the street was free and plentiful when we went on a Wednesday night after 7:30 pm.

The food here is incredible - we got chicken patties, oxtail, jerk chicken, chicken chow mein, vegan curry, cassava and blackcurrant cakes. The oxtail and jerk chicken slid straight off the bone, delicious flavour. So good we got seconds right away! Auntie is really lovely also! Will be back

This place really surprised me! The food was so good, especially the pastries. As a Guyanese person from Queens NY, I didn't expect to find any Caribbean food out here, let alone something good. However, this place has such delicious food and cured me when I was missing home. I really recommend the beef patty and cheese roll

I was craving some Caribbean food and this spot did not disappoint! I got oxtail and a beef patty and cheese roll on the side. Everything was amazing, but I think I’ll be dreaming about the beef patty until I get a chance to go again!

Honestly the best meal hands down that we’ve had in awhile. We had the jerk chicken and the oxtail. Both fantastic. We also had the turkey, chicken and the veggie hand pies which were all also fantastic. The veggie was my favorite so don’t sleep on that. The owner and staff are extremely lovely. Worth the drive if you’re not close.

If you want some genuinely delicious Caribbean food - this is the place to be. I can’t believe this hidden gem is nestled here in the San Gabriel Valley! I’ve only eaten here twice but I’m hooked. The oxtail stew will always be my favorite with the jerk chicken a close candidate. The cheese rolls are great and those plantains - yum! The guy at the counter is so courteous and friendly - thank you! Thank you guys for bringing some authentic and delicious food our way - we’ll definitely keep coming back for more :)
